Dr. Trevor Trinh obtained an Honours degree in Cellular Molecular and Microbial Biology at the University of Calgary (UofC) and later completed his Medical School training at the University of Alberta. He returned home to Calgary to complete his Family Medicine Residency and Sports and Exercise Medicine Fellowship Programs.

He currently is the Co-Program Director of the UofC Sports Medicine Residency Program and is the Sports Medicine Physician for varsity-level athletes including Head Team Physician for the UofC Dino's Men's Hockey team. For sporting event medical coverage, he has provided medical care for CIS Varsity Football, Hockey, Rugby, National/Can West Wrestling, National and Worlds for Short and Long track Speedskating, the Calgary Hitmen WHL hockey, Cirque Du Soleil performers in Amaluna, Kurios, and Luzia and the 2014 World Ironman Championships.
