Eugene Marte graduated with distinction from the University of Alberta with his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1999.  Over his career he has worked in a variety of settings including in the Shetland Islands, Edinburgh Scotland, five years touring the world with Cirque du Soleil with several different Cirque shows, the Canadian Luge Team, and since its inception, with Group23 Sports Medicine.

Eugene incorporates manual therapy, acupuncture, Gunn IMS (dry needling), myofascial release, and therapeutic exercise in an integrated treatment approach.  Eugene enjoys working with a wide spectrum of motivated clients, from elite athletes and professional acrobats to passionate recreational competitors.

Eugene is a recreational runner that completed his first marathon in 2017.  He played high school volleyball and basketball where he grew up in Burnaby, B.C.  Eugene is a terrible but enthusiastic soccer player and is a borderline obsessive Arsenal fan.  Eugene spends much of his current spare time with his daughter Lily.
